The breakfast options were VERY limited.
The breakfast options were VERY limited. Cereal n toast n a mini cinnamon bun. That was disappointing to say the least. And the pool was not available. It's one if the reasons I booked that hotel. There were tons of food options very close and it was close to the interstate.

Stay away from here! Safty hazzard and not worth the money.
Stay away from here! Safty hazzard and not worth the money. I literally would not stay here again if they paid me. I was really enjoying my trip until we stayed here, i was eager to leave and get back to enjoying my trip. Room had a front door that was very difficult to open, and a bathroom door that didnt shut all the way, and was difficult to open once it was mostly shut. No breakfast, safty hazards, and hard uncomfortable beds.

It was great for bike riding.
It was great for bike riding. We rode on the Great Western Trail, the High Trestle Trail, the Raccoon River Trail and the Clive Greenbelt Trail. We hiked on the Neal Smith Trail up to Saylorville Dam. We visited the sculpture park and Better Homes & Gardens Test Garden. NOTE: They were only open on Friday from noon to 2. We ate at the Whistling Donkey which was right off the High Trestle Trail. We went to the Subway and ice cream shop, which was next door right off the Raccoon Trail in Adel.

The room was run down looking.
The room was run down looking. The coffee pot and cups were dirty, there was dirt on the floors and the carpet felt dirty. The furniture was old The kitchen was extremely worn out.
The bed was very comfortable, but the icky feel in the room made it psychologically uncomfortable. The pool was beautiful in the night.
It just needs a renovation and it would be a really super hotel. The layout is very interesting and there were a lot of nice people there.
It's really sad it is so run down.
Shower was barely working, extremely low water pressure, Tube was clogged so it filled up when showering, despite removing the tub plug.
refrigerator did not work properly did not cool/refrigerate. Washing machines were not working, pool not working, TV only got a few of the channels on the tv guide sheet. When I informed the staff of issues they simply said thanks and seemed to shrug it off. Would not recommend this hotel...
Location, friendly staff and pet friendly.(You can not even tell that pets were here like other hotels.) Pool and hot tub was really clean. The suite room was really good size. This will be the hotel that we stay at again when we come back to see the grandchildren. This hotel is walking distance to the Cracker Barrel, Mexican restaurant, Wendy's and a gas station without crossing any major roads.
We stay at Wildwood Lodge at least twice a year on travels back and forth to see family. The staff are amazing - ALWAYS - and it’s nice to see familiar faces even if they don’t remember us.
They are very pet friendly with only a $25 fee per dog.
The hotel is always clean and their continental breakfast is pretty darn good.
Safe location and not too busy. Short distance from most things like restaurants, bars and convenience stores. The price per night was hard to beat and the quality of the hotel was decent. Rooms were clean and room service was there to offer cleaning services if needed.
I loved the hardwood-look flooring. The decor was tasteful. Towels were folded in a decorative way, which was welcoming. The front desk staff and the owner of the hotel were friendly. They made our dog feel welcome also.
Room had a cute theme decoration. Nice size shower. Beds were more comfortable than most hotels I've stayed at. Air conditioner worked well, easy to access from the highway but set back enough couldn't hear the traffic.
Very pleasant hotel set in a small trading estate. Room and bathroom were a good size, dinner was in a Cracker Barrel just opposite.
Breakfast in the hotel was good for a 2* hotel, large car park
